The group's principal activity is to design, manufacture and market paper machine clothing. The group operates in three segments: engineered fabrics, albany door systems and applied technologies. The engineered fabrics segment develops, manufactures, markets and services custom designed engineered fabrics used in the manufacture of paper, paperboard and products in other process industries. The albany door systems segment is an aggregation of the group's operations that manufacture, market and service high performance doors. The applied technologies segment manufactures products with applications outside of the core businesses of the group. The group has manufacturing facilities in Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Finland, France, Germany, great Britain, Italy, Mexico, the Netherlands, South Korea, Sweden and the United States.
